I just don’t understand why anybody would want to own a Meerkat . There are so many companion animals here in the states why in the world go after a pet like that… I just can’t see it other than it’s exotic and makes a person feel unique. I think it’s an ego thing but that’s just me thinking. I’ll stay with the traditional dog,cat,birds, pig, horse and etc… from a animal shelter… these guys make the most awsome companions as they have learned how to be  a companion to another.  mch
